Varietal: 100% Albariño
Tasting Notes: An intense nose of nectarine and yellow plum, with hints of acacia blossom and fennel over a balsamic background. The palate is lively and fresh, leading to a broad, persistent finish.
Vineyard: The grapes come from the Pazo de Barrantes estate, 12 hectares split into 8 plots around the winery. The soils are granitic with sand on the surface and the vines average around 40 years old.
Winemaking: Gently pressed, then fermented at 10ºC in stainless steel for 43 days, followed by four months on fine lees. Aged eight months in stainless steel, of which 15% in 225-litre acacia barrels, then rested in bottle.
