This orange wine is made from “Koshu” grapes and employs the carbonic maceration method with 2 weeks of contact with the skins, followed by ageing in oak barrels.
Grapes are grown with the pergola trellising method to protect the bunches during periods of summer rainfall. Vineyards grow on a soilbed of rocks and decomposed granite, providing great drainage.
Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and dry with great texture, and saline acidity over delicate tannins with aromas of apricot, orange zest and hints of almond.
