Frescobaldi Mormoreto 2021

Tasting Notes: To the eye, the 2021 Mormoreto is an intense and vibrant ruby-red colour with purple highlights. On the nose, it is complex, fruity, floral, spicy with empyreumatic notes. The fruity aspect is particularly articulated, mainly with forest fruits: raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and wild strawberry alongside hints of ripe cherry. These are followed by the spicy notes of pepper and cinnamon; hints of cocoa, tobacco and lightly toasted dried fruit. Black teaand coffee prevail in the olfactory finish. On the palate it is full-bodied, harmonious and very persistent. The tannic texture is pleasantly smooth and velvety. An extremely long finish and the aftertaste brings out all its intense character.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with hearty and flavorful dishes. Consider pairing it with grilled meats such as steak or lamb, rich pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. The wine's bold structure and complex flavors complement wellseasoned and savory meals, enhancing the overall dining experience.
