Tasting Notes: To the eye, the 2021 Mormoreto is an intense and vibrant ruby-red colour with purple highlights. On the nose, it is complex, fruity, floral, spicy with empyreumatic notes. The fruity aspect is particularly articulated, mainly with forest fruits: raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and wild strawberry alongside hints of ripe cherry. These are followed by the spicy notes of pepper and cinnamon; hints of cocoa, tobacco and lightly toasted dried fruit. Black teaand coffee prevail in the olfactory finish. On the palate it is full-bodied, harmonious and very persistent. The tannic texture is pleasantly smooth and velvety. An extremely long finish and the aftertaste brings out all its intense character.
