Herencia Historico 27 is a line of extra anejo tequila meant to commemorate the date of 5/27/97 when the European Union recognized the tequila demarcation. Ultra aged for 5 years in american white oak barrels made with 100% organic natural agave.
Herencia Mexicana Tequila bills itself as "ultra premium" and made in "limited production" quantities. The marketing literature and the bottle design both celebrate traditional tequila-making as a craft. While listed with Agave Tequilana the actual distillery is mentioned as Destileria La Fortuna.
