The Rivetto Barbera d’Alba DOC Zio Nando is a biodynamic red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes. It originates from vineyards in Sinio, located at an altitude of 365 meters. The soil is sandy-calcareous, low in nitrogen, but rich in magnesium, contributing to the wine’s distinctive character. 20% of this vineyard was originally planted in 1944. It is named after the man who planted it.
Aging: In 30-hl Slavonian/Hungarian/Swiss oak barrels.
