Tasting Notes: Grown on Pride's mountaintop estate straddling the Napa and Sonoma county line (52% Sonoma, 48% Napa fruit), then aged 20 months in French oak, half of it new. Blackcurrant, plum and blackberry mingle with bay leaf, cedar, earthy loam and dark spice. The palate is plush with black plum and berry fruit, framed by generous tannins and balanced acidity, and finishes long with the estate's savory, herbal garrigue character.
