Herencia de Plata Tequila Reposado 750ml

Herencia de Plata Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila produced by Tequilas del Señor in Jalisco, Mexico. The house makes a straightforward argument: the tequila is of the same calibre as the big names, but without the over-inflated costs, because it does not carry the weight of enormous marketing budgets. You pay for what is in the bottle.

Reposado means rested, and the time in cask shows. The nose leans on orchard and stone fruit, with peach, apple, apricot and cherry to the fore and the agave kept delicate underneath. It finishes on vanilla, coconut and caramel, the direct result of that cask time.

Drink it neat in a small glass at room temperature, the way it is drunk in Mexico, or use it to build a more serious margarita or Paloma. It handles grilled meat, tacos al pastor and citrus-marinated seafood. ABV: 38%. Origin: Mexico.
