Consigna Tempranillo Rosado 750ml

Consigna is the everyday range from Félix Solís, one of the largest family wine houses in Spain. This rosado is made from Tempranillo grown in Castilla, in the country's central plateau, and sits at 12.5% ABV.

It pours a deep pink. The aromas are of fresh fruit with hints of red berries, and the palate is light, clean, fresh and fruity, with moderate acidity and a finish that carries longer than the price suggests.

This is a pink wine to buy by the case rather than the bottle. Serve it properly cold, around 8 to 10C, and keep it moving. It works with tapas, jamon, grilled prawns, tomato salads, paella and most things off a Sunday grill, and it is a genuinely useful bottle for warm Manila afternoons when a red feels heavy and a white feels too serious.
