This is the fourth single malt from the Nagahama Distillery, vatting only the company's own distilled spirits. In creating this product, they carefully select only the finest malt liquor from the raw liquor that lies dormant in the aging cellar under the spirit of "one brew, one barrel". This time, the bourbon barrels distilled in 2017 are aged in Islay Quarter barrels. Then, in October 2021, it was divided into Ch. Mont-Perat red wine barrels and white wine barrels for further ripening, and the two raw spirits were carefully vatted using the technology and experience cultivated at AMAHAGAN.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Calm amber.
Aroma: Pound cake with orange syrup boiled down first. Fresh fruits such as muscat, lemongrass, and grapefruit. Gradually, fragrant oaks, dark berries and plums appear.
Taste: Ripe red apples in the attack. The mouthfeel is very smooth and has a gentle and warm sweetness like maple syrup, and at the end, a flowery aftertaste reminiscent of violets and golden rhinoceros lasts for a long time.
ABV: 50% / Origin: Japan
