Tasting Notes
Intensely scented nose with hints of blueberries, red plum, thyme, cedar and black pepper. Splendid palate – wide and well-defined, with a long, juicy finish. A seductive match of strength and finesse.

About This Wine
Dalmau comes from Canajas, a 9-hectare single vineyard planted in 1950 at 465 metres, on iron-clay soil with a stony topsoil. Yields are limited to 1 kg per vine. Hand-harvested (Graciano 28 September, Cabernet Sauvignon 29 September, Tempranillo 30 September); each variety ferments separately for around 10 days in 13,900-litre Allier French oak vats. Only 15,526 bottles (750ml) produced.
Pairs with: Duck breast with boletus and black truffle, dark chocolate desserts, truffled cheeses.
